Ambassador Mahilum-West Presents Credentials to UNESCO Director-General Azoulay

PARIS 01 December 2021 – Philippine Ambassador Junever Mahilum-West presents her credentials to UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay on 25 November 2021, as Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of the Philippines to UNESCO.
Director-General Azoulay congratulated Ambassador Mahilum-West for the recent re-election of the Philippines to the UNESCO Executive Board for the term 2021-2025, UNESCO Intergovernmental Council (IGC) of the Management of Social Transformations (MOST) Programme for the term 2021-2023, and International Programme for the Development of Communication (IPDC) Intergovernmental Council for the term 2021-2025.
The Ambassador conveyed that the Philippines intends to play a positive and constructive role in UNESCO, one that bridges various points of view and always works towards consensus. END
