28 May 2014- The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles participates in the ASEAN Bowling Tournament held on May 18 at the Bowling Square Lanes in Arcadia, California.

The ASEAN Bowling tournament was organized by the ASEAN Women’s Circle of Los Angeles (AWCLA) as one of its programs for 2014 and was participated in by the Consulates General of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.

After the Bowling tournament, the participants proceeded to the Arcadia County Park for a joint ASEAN picnic where simple awarding ceremony took place.  The Philippine Consulate General received 1^st and 2^nd place for the Philippine Orange Gladiators and Philippine Orange Blazers, respectively, while the Indonesian Consulate General’s Blue Strikers won 3^rd place.
