PH Embassy, Permanent Mission in Vienna Promote PH as a Fun, Exciting Travel Destination

VIENNA, 07 December 2021 – As part of its efforts to promote the Philippines as a fun and exciting tourism destination, the Office of the Tourism Attaché in Frankfurt and the Philippine Embassy and Permanent Mission in Vienna made a presentation on the country’s top destinations at the virtual “Coffee Morning” of the United Nations Women’s Guild (UNWG) in Vienna on 01 December 2021.
In her remarks, Chargé d’Affaires Deena Joy D. Amatong encouraged participants to consider the Philippines as their next travel destination once international borders reopen. She further emphasized that the Philippine Government is taking this time “to continuously develop our destinations to ensure a more fun and safer trip for all our guests.”
First Secretary Ma. Carmela Teresa A. Cabreira and Tourism Attaché Margarita Patricia R. Valdes elaborated in their respective presentations why “More Fun Awaits You in the Philippines” by discussing and sharing information and facts about Philippine destinations, culture, and history with the members of the UNWG.
The UNWG in Vienna, established in November 1967, aims to foster friendship among women in the United Nations and helping children in need around the world. END
