rome1a28 May 2014 - Filipino graphic artist Michael Vincent Manalo is holding his art exhibit in Rome entitled “The Remembrances of the Soul”

 

Philippine Ambassador to Italy Virgilio A. Reyes, Jr. formally graced the opening of the exhibit on May 9

 

The Philippine Embassy is especially proud of Mr. Manalo for sharing his talent through this exhibit to both Filipinos and Italians alike.

 

Mr. Manalo, a photographer and photo-manipulator, is inspired by the imagined memories of nostalgic and dream-like environments. 

 

Aside from Italy, his works have been exhibited in several countries such as Australia, England, Germany, Georgia, Japan, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, South Korea, Taiwan, the UK, USA, and in the Philippines.

 

The Embassy is confident that the works of Mr. Manalo can enhance greater appreciation of Filipino culture and arts among local and international audience.

Mr. Manalo’s art exhibit shall run until 10 June 2014 at the Rosso20Sette Gallery in Vicolo Del Governo Vecchio, 8, Rome 00186.  Admission is free of charge.  END
