CAIRO 21 February 2022 — Philippine Ambassador to Egypt Ezzedin H. Tago met with Egyptian Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram, and Assistant Minister of State for Immigration, Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Ambassador Amr Mahmoud Abbas on 17 February 2022.

During the meeting, Ambassador Tago and Minister Makram discussed possible cooperation, sharing of best practices and information exchange as regards the protection of overseas Filipinos and expat Egyptians.

Both the Philippines and Egypt value the welfare, protection and well-being of its migrant workers and overseas communities. END
