30 May 2014 - The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, led by Consul Marlowe Miranda conducted a two-day consular outreach program at The Boulevard Mall, South Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A. from May 24 to 25.
The consular outreach program was undertaken in cooperation with the UP Alumni Association of Nevada led by Ms. Ester Reyes and co-Chairs Messrs. Art Javier and Ed Cruz.
A total of 587 consular services were rendered during the consular outreach program, breakdown of which are as follows:
Consul Miranda was accompanied by Misses Rebecca Hipolito, Melchora Tagle and Mila Verzosa, and Messrs. Domingo Salvador Bea, Gerry Vicedor and Amor Ibanez.
The Consular Outreach Program (COP) is a regular activity of the Consulate General to bring its various services closer to its constituents residing in areas within its jurisdiction. According to the 2010 U.S. Census, there are 123,891 Filipinos in the Nevada area. END
