Philippine Embassy in Nairobi Welcomes Pinoy Overseas Voter in Nairobi for the 2022 PH Elections

NAIROBI 11 April 2022 – The Philippine Embassy in Nairobi welcomed an overseas voter, who traveled 350 kilometers by land from Kisumu in western Kenya to Nairobi to cast his vote, as it starts the one-month-long overseas voting on 10 April 2022.

When asked for a message for fellow Filipinos, the 59-year-old Kidapawan native said, “Bumoto ng tapat at piliin ang tamang kandidato na magbibigay ng tunay na pagbabago.”

Registered Filipino voters may cast their votes at Philippine Foreign Service Posts from 10 April to 09 May 2022.  The Philippine Embassy in Nairobi is open daily from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

The voting period in Nairobi ends on 09 May 2022 at 2:00 PM East African Time. END
