02 June 2014 - Ambassador Maria Rowena conducted a roadshow in Burdur on April 28 to raise awareness on the Philippines in the Turkish city.

To start the program, Ambassador Sanchez called on  Burdur Mayor, Mayor Ali Orkun Ercengiz, to discuss ways to enhance the level of engagement between the Philippines and Burdur. She also met with the board members of Burdur Merchants and Businessmen Association (BUTIAD) to convince the group on the numerous opportunities for business and investments in the Philippines.

The highlight of the roadshow was a business conference participated in by 160 companies During the business conference, Ambassador Sanchez invited the participants to consider the Philippines as destination of Turkey's business and investments in Asia. END
