PH Embassy in Manama Commences Overseas Voting for the 2022 Philippine National Elections

MANAMA 18 April 2022 – The Philippine Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain commences the month-long overseas voting for the 2022 Philippine National Elections on 10 April 2022. The Embassy created two polling precincts to serve the 28,964 registered voters in the Kingdom.

Polling started at 8:00 AM on 10 April 2022 with many registered voters lined up early to cast their votes. Voters were instructed to proceed to the air conditioned tent provided by the Embassy for verification as they patiently waited for their turn to vote. Voters were briefed on the process of voting before they proceed to their assigned polling precincts. Informative posters were also made available inside the tents and outside the polling precincts for the voter’s guidance.

The Embassy invites all Filipino registered overseas voters to exercise their right of suffrage. The Embassy is open for voting everyday, including weekends and holidays, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM until 09 May 2022, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. END
