PH Consulate General In Calgary Welcomes First Poll Watcher To Witness Ballot Feeding

CALGARY 25 April 2022 – The Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Calgary received Mr. Edwin Chavez, a poll watcher for the Akbayan Party List, as its first observer of the PCG’s ballot feeding conducted on 21 April 2022 for the overseas voting of the 2022 Philippine National Elections.

Mr. Chavez was able to witness the bi-weekly feeding of postal ballots, as well as the weekly audit log, done by the PCG’s Special Board of Election Inspectors (SBEI) . The PCG conducts the feeding of postal ballots every Monday and Thursday at 9:00 AM throughout the overseas voting period.
