BRUSSELS, 10 May 2022 – The Philippine Embassy in Brussels joined the nine other Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) during the third ASEAN Day in Luxembourg organized by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce on 04 May 2022.

Philippine Ambassador to Belgium Eduardo José A. de Vega delivered a presentation inviting investors to explore opportunities in the country, especially in the business process outsourcing sector. The Embassy team, which includes the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Brussels, also met with companies interested in doing business in the country.

Ambassador de Vega also had the opportunity to have a lunch meeting with Luxembourg Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Jean Asselborn, Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot, and President of the Chamber of Commerce Luc Frieden.

The first two editions of the ASEAN Day in Luxembourg were held in 2017 and 2020. The fourth edition is tentatively scheduled to be held in 2024. END
