For this year's Charity event, LAASA has opted to support the efforts of ORAMA ELPIDAS. For twenty years, ELPIDA under the direction of Mrs. Marianna Vardinoyannis, has helped children with cancer through its bone marrow transplant unit, its hospital for children with cancer and its guest house for sick children and their families. As this is a public hospital, it relies on the Greek government for its funding which is often not sufficient to maintain its current level of service and has to raise funds privately. END
