Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles Discusses Credentials Recognition in Canada Project with Alberta Officials

OTTAWA 28 June 2022 - Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles met Alberta’s Minister of Labor and Immigration Kaycee Madu on where the Ambassador proposed new ways in promoting the Project in Alberta. The two discussed the economic and social contribution of more than 175,000 Filipino-Canadians to the province, the largest ethnic diaspora in the Canada on a per capita basis.
Minister Madu said that “Filipino workers are some of the best people he has encountered,” and promised to look into the proposals shared by Ambassador Robles.
In a separate call on Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, Ambassador Robles sought the support of Alberta for the CRC Project in Canada, and other potential areas of cooperation in the field of education, energy, labor, and healthcare. Premier Kenney welcomed the CRC Project and expressed keen interest in strengthening Philippines-Alberta relations.
Consul General Zaldy Patron accompanied the Ambassador in both meetings.
