PH Ambassador Tago Presents His Credentials as Non-Resident Ambassador to the State of Eritrea to Eritrean President Afwerki

Philippine Ambassador to Egypt Ezzedin H. Tago presents his Letters of Credence to Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki.

CAIRO 01 July 2022 — Philippine Ambassador to Egypt and non-resident Ambassador of the Philippines to the State of Eritrea Ezzedin H. Tago presented his Letters of Credence to Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki at the State Palace in Asmara, Eritrea on 23 June 2022.

During the meeting, President Afwerki conveyed his desire to establish cooperation on human resources development, particularly in education and health. In response, Ambassador Tago conveyed the Philippine government’s desire to strengthen Philippines-Eritrea bilateral relations.

The Philippines and Eritrea formerly established relations twenty-five years ago on 04 February 1997. END
