PH Embassy in Manama Repatriates Seven Filipinos from Bahrain

MANAMA 28 July 2022 – As part of its ongoing Repatriation Program, the Philippine Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, successfully repatriated seven distressed Filipinos, including two minors via Gulf Air from Manama to Manila on 26 July 2022.
The Embassy, through the Assistance-to-Nationals Funds of the Department of Foreign Affairs, shouldered the airfare of the repatriates and facilitated the issuance of their exit permits. Airport assistance was also arranged upon their arrival in Manila, in coordination with OWWA.
The Embassy acknowledges the assistance extended by the National, Passport and Residence Affairs and Immigration officials of the Kingdom of Bahrain in facilitating the repatriation of these seven Filipino nationals. END
