PH Ambassador Lagdameo Bids Farewell to IMO Secretary General

London, 29 July 2022 – Philippine Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Antonio M. Lagdameo paid a farewell call on Secretary-General Kitack Lim at the IMO Headquarters on 21 July 2022.
Ambassador Lagdameo was presented with a Letter of Appreciation by the Secretary General for his leadership in skillfully steering the proceedings of the 32nd regular session of the IMO Assembly. He was elected President of the 32nd IMO Assembly last December 2021. It was the first time in IMO’s history that the Philippines was appointed as President of the Assembly.
Ambassador Lagdameo has concluded his tour of duty as Philippine Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, with concurrent jurisdiction over Ireland, following his appointment as the Philippine Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York. END
