06 June 2014- Officials of the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu graced the Miss Oahu Filipina Scholarship Pageant held by the Oahu Filipino Community Council on May 30 at the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu.

The Oahu Filipino Community Council (OFCC) is the umbrella organization of all Filipino community organizations in the island of Oahu in Hawaii. It has over 100 member organizations and was founded in 1964. Every year, the OFCC hosts the Miss Oahu Filipina Scholarship Pageant. The OFCC has been instrumental in promoting Philippine culture, advocating education, and serving the Filipino community in Hawaii and going to humanitarian missions in the Philippines.END
