MEXICO 30 September 2022 – The Philippine Embassy in Mexico, represented by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Marisa Winkler, met with the Vice Chancellor and other officials of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) on 31 August 2022, to discuss the details of the implementation of the Philippine Studies Program at UNAM and the date of signing of the Deed of Donation.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Leonardo Vanegas Lomeli, Attorney General Alfredo Castañeda Sanchez, Director General of Finance Lic. Alejandro Ortega Macias, and Dr. Ivan Valdez-Bubnov represented the UNAM. 

Vice Chancellor Lomeli expressed his appreciation to the Philippine Government for choosing UNAM as the recipient university in Central America that will receive a cash donation in line with the implementation of the Philippine Studies Program. END
