Abu Dhabi meeting with deputy Supreme Commander of UAE

09 June 2014 - Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Grace Relucio Princesa met the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan last June 02 at the Sea Palace in Abu Dhabi.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed expressed to Ambassador Princesa his appreciation to the contribution of the Filipino community to the growth and development of the UAE The Ambassador also thanked the UAE for the help it is extending to the Philippines for the Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) victims. They also discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations between the Philippines and the UAE, including expanding economic cooperation.

Diplomatic relations between the Philippines and the UAE were established in 1980. There are more than 500,000 Filipinos presently working and residing in the country. END
