10 June 2014 – The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors presented a plaque commemorating Consul General Leo Herrera-Lim’s appointment as Consul General in Los Angeles during a Board Meeting held on June 04 at the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration located in downtown Los Angeles.
The Board of Supervisors is composed of five members and is the governing body of the County of Los Angeles. The Board has executive, legislative and quasi-judicial roles. According to the 2010 US Census, the Los Angeles county has a population of 9,818,605, making it the most populous county in the United States. It is also home to 374,285 Filipinos, or 1 out 10 Filipinos in the US live in LA County. END
