PH Ambassador Meets Director General of Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT)

ANKARA, 18 October 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Türkiye Maria Elena P. Algabre met with Mr. Mehmet Zahid Sobacı, Director General of the Türkiye Radyo Televizyon Kurumu (TRT) or the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation, on 17 October 2022 to discuss potential collaboration on TRT’s future projects or productions.

TRT is the only public broadcasting corporation in Türkiye. A total of 18 television channels under TRT feature news, sports coverage, social and cultural lifestyle shows, and educational programs for children. TRT also has 17 radio channels and stations throughout the country and has nine digital applications, of which six are news platforms in English, Arab, Russian, French, German, and Balkan.
