PH Embassy in Ottawa and Parliament Member Discuss Project on Credentials Recognition in Canada

OTTAWA, 23 November 2022 - Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III briefed federal Member of Parliament Rechie Valdez on the progress of the Credentials Recognition in Canada (CRC) Project being implemented by Philippine Posts in Canada (PPC) in a meeting held last 14 November 2022 at the Chancery of the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa. Joining the meeting were Third Secretaries Jan Michael Gomez and Mary Jaselle Menteer, and Commission on Audit (COA) officials Director Adela Dondonilla and Ms. Nenita Bautista.
The discussion further included developments in the growing Filipino diaspora in Canada and the forthcoming parliamentary visit to the Philippines to be led by MP Valdez.
MP Valdez will be chairing the Canada-Philippines Interparliamentary Friendship Group later in November, succeeding federal MP Kevin Lamoureux who initiated its organization in 2011.
