Ambassador Quintana Presents Credentials as PH Permanent Representative To ASEAN

JAKARTA, 12 January 2023 – Ambassador Hjayceelyn M. Quintana presented her credentials to newly-installed ASEAN Secretary-General Kao Kim Hourn on 10 January 2023 at the ASEAN Secretariat. 

During her meeting with Secretary-General Kao, Permanent Representative Quintana highlighted the Philippines' key priorities in ASEAN, which include maritime cooperation, digitalization, climate change and biodiversity. 

Dr. Kao, who assumed his position as the 15th Secretary-General of ASEAN only on 09 January 2023 said that he will work closely with the Philippines and other ASEAN member states in advancing ASEAN Community building efforts and key priority areas. END
