PH Envoy Reaffirms PH-US Relations at IISS Forum

WASHINGTON D.C., 16 January 2023 – Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel G. Romualdez was the guest speaker at the Ambassador’s Forum Series of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) held at the IISS Headquarters in Washington, D.C. on 12 January 2023. He discussed the current political and economic environment of the Philippines, and the thriving relations between the Philippines and the United States, particularly in the areas of security and defense cooperation and trade and investments.
The Ambassador’s Forum is a regular series organized to inform IISS members on a wide range of issues about the foreign policy and national security priorities of the Ambassador’s country and bilateral relations with the US. This forum was moderated by Ellen Laipson, the director of the Master's in International Security degree program and the Center for Security Policy Studies in the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University.
