PH Embassy Collaborates with Carrefour on “Pinoy Market” Featuring PH Products at Oasis Mall in Juffair, Bahrain

MANAMA 30 January 2023 – The Philippine Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, collaborated with Carrefour and the Oasis Mall in Juffair, Bahrain, on a “Pinoy Market” that featured various kinds of Philippine food products from 25 to 28 January 2023. The event is part of the Embassy’s efforts to promote PHL products to consumers in Bahrain, and was officially opened on 25 January 2023 during a ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Honorable Anne Jalando-on Louis, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., and Mr. Mohammad Ismail Khatib, General Manager – Carrefour Bahrain City Center.

CDA Louis thanked Mr. Mohammad Ismail Khatib for collaborating with the PHL Embassy on the Pinoy Market and invited the Carrefour team to expand their list of PHL products by sourcing additional items from PHL suppliers.

The Carrefour Pinoy Market is one of the promotional activities held at the Oasis Mall in conjunction with the Philippine Festival organized by the PHL Embassy, in cooperation with the Mall and Brand Sync, a Filipino-owned events company. END
