2023 Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour Launched in L.A.

LOS ANGELES 30 January 2023 – The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles heralded the return of the Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour in 2023 with a special launch event held on 20 January 2023.  The launch was also livestreamed on the Consulate General’s Facebook page.

The 2023 VIP Tour will take place from 16 to 24 July 2023 and will include exciting destinations in Manila, Iloilo and Boracay. Participants will also have the opportunity to avail of other add-on tours to destinations in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao should they wish to stay longer in the Philippines.

At the launch event, Deputy Consul General Ambrosio Brian F. Enciso III welcomed in-person guests and livestream viewers and invited them to join the Tour, as well as assist in getting the word out to attract more VIP Tour participants.

Tourism Attaché and Director Richmond Patrick L. Jimenez and Rajah Tours President Jose C. Clemente III presented the VIP tour itinerary and package costs.  They were joined by Philippine Airlines Area Manager for L.A., Ms. Michelle Narvaez, who presented special airfare packages to complement the VIP Tour packages.

During the question-and-answer portion, Mr. Jimenez, Mr. Clemente, and Ms. Narvaez responded to queries on the itinerary, add-on tours, and airfare packages.  Mr. Clemente also took the opportunity to assure prospective participants of the inclusion of insurance coverage should any participant fall ill during the Tour.  He added that Tour participants are free to secure additional insurance coverage if this would help allay concerns.
