PH Embassy Co-Organizes Art Exhibit Highlighting Philippines-Bahrain Partnership

MANAMA 01 February 2023 – The Philippine Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, collaborated with the Filipino Creatives Bahrain, International Action Arts Bahrain, Brand Sync, and the Oasis Mall in Juffair, Bahrain, on an art exhibition that was held at the Atrium of the Oasis Mall from 27 to 28 January 2023.
The exhibit was officially opened on 27 January 2023 by Chargé d’ Affiares, a.i. Anne Jalando- on Louis, Mr. Jie Refugio, President of the Filipino Creatives Bahrain, and Ms. Marina Dimitriou, President of International Action Art Bahrain. Ms. Rabab Al Ali, Marketing Specialist of Al Rashid Group, and Ms. Cristina Fulgencio, Founder and CEO of Brand Sync, also attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
A total of 19 Filipino and 15 Bahraini artists participated in the exhibit, which showcased their talents and highlighted the engagement between Filipino and Bahraini artists.
Among those who viewed the paintings on display were H.E. Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam, Ambassador of Bangladesh, and Bangladeshi artist and President of International Action Art Dubai, Mr. Jahangir Hossain.
The exhibit was in conjunction with the Philippine Festival held at the Oasis Mall from 26 to 28 January 2023 to commemorate the 45th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of the Philippines and the Kingdom of Bahrain this year.
CDA Louis thanked Filipino Creatives Bahrain, International Action Arts Bahrain, Brand Sync, and the Oasis Mall for collaborating with the Philippine Embassy on the Art Exhibition in conjunction with the Philippine Festival. END
