PH Ambassador Ver Encourages Filipinos in UAE to Build PH’s Future by Investing in RTB29
ABU DHABI 14 February 2023 — Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Alfonso A. Ver enjoined Filipinos in the UAE to take part in helping build a bright future for the Philippines by investing in the Retail Treasury Bond (RTB) 29th Roadshow on 11 February 2023.
The Bureau of Treasury has always counted on the strong support of Filipinos in the UAE, being one of the main target Filipino populations abroad for its past RTB campaigns, owing to the sheer number of OFs in the UAE which is reckoned to be nearing a million per 2021 host government estimates.
In his opening message at the online RTB roadshow, Amb. Ver said that Filipino professionals and workers, widely recognized for contributing to the UAE's robust economy, are in a unique position to give back to their motherland the Philippines by taking part in RTB29 which aims to shore up resources for the government's growth plans. Amb. Ver appealed to the strong sense of patriotism and "malasakit" of the Filipino community in UAE, for them to invest in RTB29 which aims to ensure a bright future for the next generation.
Amb. Ver invited his kababayans in the UAE to take part as RTB29 is a low-risk investment instrument easily available in digital platforms that enables each Filipino abroad to earn while supporting the Philippine Government's efforts to reach its ambitious growth projections. END
