PH Embassy in Jakarta Hosts Film Screening of "Hello, Love, Goodbye" in Celebration of National Arts Month

JAKARTA 16 February 2023 –  The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta marked this year’s celebration of National Arts Month with a sampling of visual arts creativity through a special screening of film director Cathy Garcia-Molina’s widely acclaimed movie “Hello Love, Goodbye” starring Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo at the chancery, attended by a small group of Filipino community members and select Indonesian guests on 10 February 2023.

The movie was selected as an excellent example of the Filipino’s desire to forge a better life for themselves and their families through hard work and determination. Its screening in Indonesia was made possible through the collaboration of Sentro Rizal Jakarta in partnership with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) through its Chairman Mr. Tirso Cruz III, iWantTFC, and ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc.

Proclamation No. 683 s. 1991 signed by then President Corazon C. Aquino declares every February as National Arts Month to highlight the importance of culture and arts to enhance national consciousness and to celebrate Philippine values, tradition and culture via creative expression. END
