PH Co-Chairs ASEAN Joint Committee Meeting With EU: Huge Potential for Greater Cooperation Pushed

JAKARTA, 28 February 2023 – Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Philippines to ASEAN, Ambassador Hjayceelyn M. Quintana, co-chaired the 30th ASEAN-EU Joint Cooperation Committee Meeting on 24 February 2023 at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia with Ms. Barbara Plinkert, Head of the South-East Asia Division of the European External Action Service, and Mr. Ian Hoskins, Deputy Head of Unit for South and South-East Asia, European Commission Directorate- General for International Partnerships. 

During the meeting, ASEAN and the EU agreed to build on the momentum of the ASEAN-EU Commemorative Summit held in Brussels, Belgium on 14 December 2022 and to advance cooperation in various areas. END
