PH Ambassador Ver Presents Credentials to IRENA, Bats for More Renewable Energy Projects in PH

MASDAR CITY, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES 10 March 2023 — Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Alfonso A. Ver presented his credentials as Philippine Permanent representative to the International Renewable Energy (IRENA) to IRENA Director General Dr. Francesco La Camera on 07 March 2023. 

Lauding the work of IRENA as an intergovernmental body that aims to develop the capability of countries to shift to renewable energy (RE), Amb. Ver called on governments and the private sector to tap its existing financing mechanisms for RE projects in resource-rich Philippines. END
