PH Retirement Authority Joins the Korea Education and Emigration Expo 2023

SEOUL 15 March 2023 – The Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) led by General Manager Atty. Bienvenido K. Chy participated in the 2023 Korea Education and Emigration Expo. The event, which returned to an in-person format after three years, took place at COEX Seoul and featured education and emigration opportunities for Koreans overseas. 

The PRA promoted the Philippines as a retirement haven for Koreans and explained the procedures, requirements, and benefits of the Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) for foreign nationals who would like to consider the Philippines as their second home or as an investment destination. To date, the Republic of Korea is the second largest source country for the PRA’s SRRV program. The PRA is an attached agency of the Philippine Department of Tourism.

Along with the PRA Delegation, officials from Dumaguete City, headed by Mayor Felipe Remollo and Councilor Atty. Karissa T. Maxino, were likewise on hand to promote Dumaguete City which is known as a center for biodiversity, cultural heritage, and educational excellence being home to Silliman University. 

Private sector participants such as the Gaisano Group also took part in the Expo. END
