ISS, Leading Facility Management Company, Hosts Filipino IT Professionals in Denmark

COPENHAGEN, 28 March 2023 – The Philippine Embassy in Copenhagen co-organized a networking event entitled “Filipino Tech Community in Denmark” in collaboration with ISS and ULAP.org. The event which took place in ISS on 24 March 2023, served as an excellent platform to connect and engage with members of Filipino IT Professionals in Denmark.

Philippine Ambassador to Denmark Leo Herrera-Lim encouraged attendees to work together to elevate the Filipino talent pool and collectively rise to new heights. He also shared the Embassy’s initiatives to raise awareness among Danish companies and help decision-makers recognize the immense talent of Filipino IT professionals.

During the event, Ms. Nada Elboayadi, Head of Global Big Data at ISS, shared insights on why we should identify diversity beyond race and ethnicity, gender, and age. She also highlighted how ISS’s commitment to diversity and hiring Filipino IT talents resulted in enhanced innovation within its global technology strategy.

ULAP.org also provided an update on their notable accomplishments over the past year and a half, which included scholarships programs, certification provisions, tech events and community day initiatives.
