PH Ambassador Calls On Qatar Minister of Justice

DOHA 28 March 2023 — Philippine Ambassador to Qatar H.E. Lillibeth V. Pono paid a courtesy call on H.E. Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri, the Minister of Justice of Qatar, on 20 March 2023 at the Ministry of Justice headquarters in Doha.

The meeting served as an opportunity for the two sides to exchange views on the state of relations between the Philippines and Qatar, as well as the operationalization of existing arrangements to enhance the international legal cooperation between the two countries.

The two officials committed to build on previous gains by endeavoring to expand areas of cooperation in the legal field such as, among others, the sharing of best practices, exchanging expertise in the various fields of law, and conducting legal training. END
