17 June 2014 - Los Caballeros, the Singing Soldiers of the Philippines, performed to an appreciative audience at the Philippines-Myanmar Friendship Concert held on June 14 at the Myanmar Defence Services Medical Academy in Yangon.

The two-hour Philippines-Myanmar Friendship Concert featured a reenactment of the Ramayana epic from the cadets of the Myanmar Defence Services and the rendition of classical music by the A.O.C., a group of young Myanmar musicians.

The Los Caballeros’ repertoire of Philippine, Spanish and American songs was well received by the more than three hundred guests from the Myanmar Defence Services Yangon Command and the Myanmar Defence Services Medical Academy. 

The Los Caballeros’ performances at the diplomatic reception on June 11 and at the CharmZ Charity Gala Dinner and Concert on June 9 were equally well received.

The successful performance in Myanmar of the Los Caballeros was made possible through the collaboration of the Philippine Embassy in Yangon, the Office of the Defense and Armed Forces Attaché in Yangon (ODAFA-Yangon) and Madame Rose Cormack, philanthropist and President of CharmZ Charity. END
