PH Ambassador Meñez Presents Credentials to Czech President

PRAGUE, 13 April 2023 – Philippine Ambassador to the Czech Republic Eduardo Martin R. Meñez presented his letter of credence to Czech President Petr Pavel in a ceremony held at Prague Castle on 04 April 2023.
In their meeting, Ambassador Meñez conveyed the greetings of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to President Pavel and the Czech people. They also discussed the 50th anniversary of the formal establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Philippines and the Czech Republic and the contribution of both countries to peacekeeping operations and the promotion of human rights.
Ambassador Meñez was the first of four ambassadors who presented their credentials to President Pavel.
It was also the first time that President Pavel received new ambassadors at the Castle, after his inauguration as the fourth President of the Czech Republic on 09 March 2023. END
