PH Ambassador Meñez Joins Diplomatic Corps in Meeting Czech President Pavel

PRAGUE, 14 April 2023 – Philippine Ambassador to Prague Eduardo Martin R. Meñez joined the diplomatic corps at a reception hosted by Czech President Petr Pavel at Prague Castle on 05 April 2023. 

“It is an honor to meet you again so soon and it is equally a privilege for my wife and I to meet Madam First Lady Eva Pavlova this afternoon”, said Ambassador Meñez to President Pavel who received his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to the Czech Republic just the day before. 

It was the first meeting of President Pavel with ambassadors of foreign countries to the Czech Republic after his inauguration on 09 March 2 023. 

Ambassador and Mrs. Meñez also met Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky who joined the First Couple in greeting the diplomatic corps under this new administration. END
