Consul General Fernandez lauded the success of Filipino-American entrepreneurs in Hawaii, noting the opportune time to invest in the Philippines or partner with traders and suppliers from the country interested in capturing the Hawaiian market. He added that the activity builds on the back-to-back economic briefings at the Consulate last January.

Panelists included Mr. Dante Aragon of EMCC, LLC, Ms. Melody Calisay of East West Marketing, and Mr. Saili Levi of Laie Vanilla Company, who spoke of their successful ventures and applicability in the Philippines.

Mayor Singson, Deputy Speaker Singson, and former Finance Undersecretary Singson thanked the participants for organizing the event and sharing their expertise, which they hoped to replicate in Ilocos Sur. (Honolulu PCG photo)
