VANCOUVER 18 April 2023 — Following the successful participation of up-and-coming Filipino fashion designer Chynna Mamawal in the Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW), Philippine Consul General Arlene T. Magno hosted Chynna and her family to lunch at Grandt Kitchen in Surrey on 18 April 2023 to promote the 2023 Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada (FRMC). She was accompanied by Consul Analyn Ratonel.
Grandt Kitchen is one of the nine Filipino restaurants taking part in this year’s FRMC. The restaurant is particularly known for its delicious chicken inasal, lumpiang shanghai, lechon kawali and atchara.

For the entire month of April, select Filipino restaurants in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, and beyond will be offering prix fixe menus. END
