PH Embassy in Seoul Welcomes Official Delegation from the House of Representatives

SEOUL, 13 April 2023 – The Philippine Embassy in Seoul was honored to welcome an official delegation from the Philippine House of Representatives led by Majority Floor Leader Manuel Jose “Mannix” Dalipe, Senior Deputy Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander Marcos, and other esteemed members of Congress on 13 April 2023. The delegation and Embassy officials had a briefing and exchange of views on priority areas of cooperation between the Philippines and Korea and the condition and welfare of the overseas Filipino Community. 

The delegation likewise made a solemn floral offering at the War Memorial Museum of Korea to honor the great sacrifices of the Philippine Expeditionary Force or PEFTOK during the Korean War. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Korean armistice agreement. END
