PH Assumes Chairmanship of the ASEAN London Committee (ALC)

LONDON, 28 April 2023 – On behalf of the Philippine Embassy in London, Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. accepted on 28 April 2023 the chairmanship of the ASEAN London Committee from the Malaysian High Commission in London. 

As Chair, the Philippine Embassy will lead the ALC in the direction it has already decided to take and will steer the group ahead based on the consensus achieved. The ALC will work together to raise the profile of ASEAN and the Southeast Asian region in the United Kingdom. END
