PH Ambassador to Bahrain Presents Credentials to His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa

MANAMA 04 May 2023 — Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain Anne Jalando-on Louis presented her Letter of Credence to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on 02 May 2023 at the Sakhir Palace in Bahrain.

Ambassador Louis conveyed best wishes and greetings of peace to HM King Hamad, and felicitations from President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

Ambassador Louis noted the longstanding ties and excellent relations between the Philippines and Bahrain, and the celebration of the 45th Anniversary of the Establishment of PHL-Bahrain Diplomatic Relations this year. Ambassador Louis also conveyed appreciation to the King for his policies and the hospitality and kind treatment accorded to more than 57,000 Filipinos in Bahrain.

HM King Hamad affirmed the strong bilateral ties between the Philippines and Bahrain, which is preceded by people-to-people contact even before the establishment of formal relations. He also commended the dedication and hard work of Filipino workers in the Kingdom.

Also present during the presentation of credentials were His Highness Shaikh Abdulla Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty, His Highness Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Supreme Defence Council Secretary General, and Royal Guard Commander, H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, and H.E. Shaikh Abdulla Bin Ahmed Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
