PH Consulate General in Jeddah, MWO-OWWA Meet 99 Filipino Evacuees from Sudan during Transit from Egypt to Manila

JEDDAH 08 May 2023 - A batch of 99 overseas Filipinos who fled Khartoum through Sudan-Egypt border transited Jeddah en route to Manila earlier morning on 07 May 2023.

They were met by Consul General Edgar Tomas Auxilian and Labor Attaché Roel Martin inside the waiting area at the King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah at around 3:00 o'clock in the morning who assured them of the Philippine government's continued assistance upon their arrival in Manila.
