“MB the Place to Be” Lives up to Its Name for the 2023 Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada

TORONTO 16 May 2023 – Mr. Mike Cruz better known as Coach Mike in the Filipino community, one of the owners of MB the Place to Be, participated in the 2023 Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada (FRMC) on 29 April 2023.
MB the Place to be, a repeat restaurant for the 2023 FRMC, offered lauriat for its prix fixe this year. Diners could choose from a bountiful serving of BBQ, fried chicken or lechon kawali that includes portions of pancit canton, lumpiang shanghai, siomai, rice and leche flan.
“MB the Place to Be” which used to be Music Box (MB), is a place for music lovers where guests are welcome to use the available karaoke in the restaurant or just relax and enjoy listening to the soothing voice of the regular acoustic singer. Mr. Cruz, who could also sing, readily entertained the representatives of the Philippine Consulate General with a rendition of Original Pilipino Music (OPM). END
