PH Embassy in Moscow Holds Financial Literacy Webinar

MOSCOW, 22 May 2023 – The Philippine Embassy in Moscow held a Financial Literacy Webinar on 14 May 2023.  The primary objective of the activity is to provide basic financial literacy or basic understanding to members of the Filipino Community in Russia on how to manage their finances better. 

The online lecture, which was entitled “Investing Basics for Global Pinoy: Investing on Retail Dollar Bonds” was presented by Mr. Leover Loyola, Overseas Representative Officer of Overseas Filipino Bank (OFBank). OFBank is a subsidiary of Landbank of the Philippines and the first digital bank to cater to the banking needs of migrant workers worldwide. The lecture was attended by over sixty (60) participants.
