LOS ANGELES 22 May 2023 – The world premiere of the seven-episode web series “STAY” was held at the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles on 19 May 2023.

During the premiere, the first three episodes of the series were shown to an audience composed of fans, media and entertainment representatives, and representatives from the Fil-Am community. Joining them were series creators Dexter Hemedez and Allan Ibanez, as well as series actors Sebastian Castro and Bombalicious Eclaver.

"Stay" is a seven-episode romantic-comedy series that tackles various themes and issues, including migration, different types of love, and dealing with obstacles and discrimination in pursuit of one’s dreams, among others. It was written, directed, and produced by Hemedez and Ibanez, who consider the series as their love letter to Filipino artists who continually make huge sacrifices to pursue their Hollywood dreams despite obstacles and hardships.

The creative pair had previously written and directed “1st sem”, their first feature film that garnered attention in many international film festivals. Hemedez was also an episode scriptwriter for many ABS-CBN series, including the highly successful “Be Careful With My Heart”.

‘Stay’ will be available for streaming on Team Campy Entertainment’s Youtube channel in June 2023.END
