19 June 2014 - Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia, was the guest of honor at the ribbon cutting ceremony to open the “Spontaneous Creation Art Exhibit”of three (3) Filipino artists residing in Thailand on June 8. The exhibit was among the many activities held during the annual Barrio Fiesta gathering of the Filipino community in Thailand to celebrate the 116th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence at the Philippine Embassy grounds in Bangkok on June 8.

The three artists featured in the exhibit are Mr. Benito Vacio, Ms. Juliet Nazarrea and Ms. Feona de Vera who are all members of the New Life Fellowship Center of the Seventh Day Adventist Church based in Mueang, Nonthaburi Province. The Center is composed mainly of English teachers from different schools in Nonthaburi and nearby provinces who give free English and Christian values classes to Thai students and their parents. END
