PH Ambassador Presents Credentials to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

ASTANA, 05 June 2023  -  After holding a productive meeting with the Asia Pacific Region Department and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the previous day, Ambassador Igor G. Bailen proceeded to the Akorda Presidential Palace in Astana on 30 May 2023 to present his letter of credence from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. addressed to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

During the media briefing, Ambassador Bailen conveyed the warm greetings of President Marcos and stated the importance of establishing strong bilateral relations between the Philippines and Kazakhstan and existing cooperation between the two countries.

H.E. Igor G. Bailen is the Philippine Ambassador to the Russian Federation. The Philippine Embassy in Moscow also covers diplomatic relations with Armenia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.  END
