PH Ambassador to Canada Presents Credentials as PH Permanent Representative to ICAO

MONTREAL 05 July 2023 – Philippine Ambassador to Canada Ma. Andrelita S. Austria presented her credentials as Permanent Representative of the Philippines to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to ICAO Secretary General Juan Carlos Salazar Gomez on 26 June 2023 at ICAO Headquarters in Montreal, Quebec. They discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between ICAO and the Philippines focusing on capacity building for aviation professionals and technical training. 

ICAO is a specialized agency of the United Nations and was founded in 1944 upon sufficient ratification to the Chicago Convention. It is responsible for developing and maintaining international standards and recommended practices to ensure the safe, secure and efficient operation of civil aviation worldwide. The Philippines is a founding member of ICAO. END
