PH Consulate General and Trade Center in Hong Kong Participate in Cultural Heritage Expo

HONG KONG 12 July 2023 –– The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong, through the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Hong Kong (PTIC-HK), participated in the International Culture, Tourism & Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition (ICTICHE) from 30 June to 02 July 2023 at the Asia World – Expo Hong Kong.
The event invites different countries and regions to showcase their unique cultures and invaluable intangible cultural heritages. The artworks of Filipino artists, jewelries, and fashion accessories from the Philippines are also featured at this event. Deputy Consul General Germinia V. Aguilar-Usudan, together with Vice Consul and Commercial Attaché Roberto B. Mabalot, Jr. of the Philippine Trade and Investment Center – Hong Kong (PTIC), led the Philippine booth’s ribbon cutting during the opening ceremony.
The artworks and fashion accessories from Kambal Gallery and Fashion Accessory Makers of the Philippines (FAMph) were prominently displayed in the Philippines’ booth. Furthermore, the event also put a spotlight on Philippine fashion accessories and apparels proudly made by Filipino designers during the fashion show presented by FAMph. END
